Validation > PresentationError

Define whether to validate the data with presentation settings at run time. For example, if a number is defined as an integer, but it appears in the data as a decimal number, the mapping process ignores the fact that the number appears as a decimal and accepts the data as valid anyway.

If the item has an invalid presentation, the system cannot interpret it as an object of the defined type. Even if the data fails the item presentation check, the mapping process handles the data as if it were valid. Although the mapping process attempts to map the item, it might not produce the correct output.
Validate with presentation settings.
